Using a rectifier diode inline with the positive servo lead
You must step down a 9257 if you plan to run at 6v! Don't if you are running 5v.

Inside of the Align step down is a rectifier diode you can get this from Radio Shack. We need to solder this inline with the silver/white circle toward the servo. You want to solder it in keeping your wire length the same.

Rectifier Diode: 1N5404 can take 3 amps, 1N4001 for 1 amp.

Now slide a piece of heat shrink on it

Slide your heat shrink on and the attach the connector.
